To be fair they have one of the worst fanbases in gaming history, the literally demanded they they remake the endings lol

That's because the ending as it was originally was garbage.  3 choices with identical endings except for what color things were.  3 shitty choices that Shephard would have said "screw you" to all of them (or not.  My Shephard would have).  The ending was bad, plain and simple, and only EA apologists believe otherwise.  Where's the "you win the game and spend the rest of your life chilling on a beach" ending?  (Also known as "the good ending").  Your character has kids with (romantic interest), and build a life together, picking up the pieces from the war.  What about all your companions?  What about Tali, who literally can't EAT anything on earth without getting sick and dying?  Great ending there, writers.  And that's just the beginning of the problems with what was originally written. Brilliant.

Seriously, as awesome as ME1, 2, and even 3 were, the end was a complete mess that should never have made it past internal testing.  No one is going to feel satisfied with what they did.  Number 1 rule in writing: don't kill your main character.  Even more so in games where the player puts themselves in the role of the main character.

Seriously, in a game with multiple endings, it literally is possible to make almost everybody happy.  I point to Chrono Trigger as example of how multiple endings can be done.  Its stands in stark contrast to the utter fail that EA and Bioware put together for the ME3 ending.  Shame on them.  They deserve all the ridicule they get and more.

I never said the ending was good so your "E.A apologist" comment was unneeded although I didn't find it as bad as other parts of the game (auto dialogue). There was no way everyone was going to get exactly what they wanted way to many choices and way to many variables. All that being said that does not give people the right to threaten, hack, and harass people just because they didn't like the direction they took with their I.P.(which they own)

As far as your other concerns they were addressed in the Extended Cut such as your crew left with joker and society rebuilding mass relays to help people get home, I'm sure the can synthesize food for Tali in the mean time.

(Spoiler) Infamous 2 has an ending when Cole dies and I think Sucker Punch are some of the best Story writers this Gen so your point is moot considering Sheperd survives in one of the endings. If you think it is OK for people to behave like wild animals because they don't like a video game ending then that's your opinion.
