PS: McLaren is Button team now. I remember all the bashing he got when he decided to go there. Now his decision is justified, he's first driver in a top team.

They have a contract up to 2015, and they can renew it. What they don't have from 2013 onwards is free engines., but I'm sure they can negotiate a low cost for them, being Mercedes engines or other manufacturer. McLaren Renault doesn't sound too bad.

right,that's interesting so being mclaren mercedes got them free engines then sounds like a good deal if they will start having to pay for them

i thought mercedes were going to be the only team with a current mercedes engine when it all starts but mclaren can still pay for one you think
