If there's a good app in the Windows Store, there's about a 99% chance it's in the App Store. The reverse is not necessarily the case. |
The majority of decent apps in the WP marketplace are made for the ground up for Metro. most ports from Iphone on WP pale in comparison to the wp only devs designing apps for metro. The apps that dont take advantage of metro seem old, unorganised and very unintuitive. Even if more of the best Ipone apps come over, I bet id stay wit the amazing metro only apps which do the same but better. Metro apps are really impressive. Hopefully with windows8 and wp8 more devs will design apps for metro. seeing as porting to wp8 from windows 8 is next to no extra work.
