There's something about the name of "fairtax" that really irks me.
Also, it's a big worry, because unless the income amendment is repealed from the Constitution... it'd effectively mean that any future Congress could impose an income tax AND a sales tax, and there's noway the current Congress would repeal that amendment, and there's no way a future Congress won't make use of both tax avenues.

I fully understand and agree with that. Gary Johnson (the guy I'm voting for) wants to abolish the IRS wholesale as well as all other tax, and simply put in the FairTax as the one and only tax in America (sans maybe tariffs, but I don't think he wants those, either).

Would he amend the constitution to eradicate the income tax? Hell, is a fair tax even constitutional, at the moment?
