Beer geek here. I love me some American micros, and being where I am geographically, there's tons of them around. I can find Dogfish Head, Victory, Troeg's, Great Lakes, and many more in local bars.

My favorite micro would have to be DFH 90 Minute IPA. There's just nothing like it in terms of double IPAs - or, well, much of anything else in general.

As for imports, I'm officially addicted to Chimay Blue, and I pick it up in 750s whenever I can. That stuff is like crack. I also enjoy a lot of other Belgians, as well as some Bavarians (Aecht smoked marzen is amazing, and Franziskaner hefeweizen is my standby for something lighter.)

On the cheap, it's all about Yuengling porter, which is the only domestically-brewed porter that I know of. Even here in PA, with our insane alcohol taxes, I can find the stuff for about $20/case.

You drink like I do.  :D

Dogfish Head is a favorite of mine.  I'm also a big fan of the Stone Brewing Company, but they don't distribute to the new state that I recently moved to.  The Imperial Stout is a favorite, and I also love Arrogant Bastard.

I do also love Chimay, but I'd much prefer a St. Bernardus Abt 12 to Chimay Blue, though it isn't a "real" Trappist Ale.  I am a big fan of any Trappist Ales though, Rocheforte being a favorite.

When I'm in the mood for just a plain beer, I'll drink Pilsner Urquell any day.  But I'll drink about anything that is of quality depending on the mood; Sam Adams, Grolsch/Heineken/etc,  or other decent lagers.  I *love* west-coast beers like Anchor Liberty Ale, Anchor Steam, and Sierra Nevada.  Give me hops or give me death!

You mentioned Victory Brewing Co.  I love the Storm King Stout and the Golden Monkey.

Today I am drinking Hacker-Pscorr Hefe Weizen.  When I am not drinking beers, I also enjoy all sorts of wines and ports.

Basically, I drink anything except for cheap macro-lagers like Bud (the Euros don't count) when I can avoid them.  You can tell a lot about a man by his beers.
