A target camera like in Zelda wouldn't work because you're trying to hit specific parts of the monster like the tail, head, backside, underside of stomach, etc. (different parts of the monster's body incur different damage depending on the weapon and element. With the head, you can break off parts of it like horns or frills. With the tail you can cut it off). With games like Zelda you just hit any part of the monster and you're good.


I see, well, at least this new camera must improve targetting a bit, I guess. I'm still in doubt if I buy the new CPP. Of course I never played the game... but I keep feeling it's not that necessary for this game - and that was before this target camera - I only knew about the center camera button.

 

One other nice thing they added, imo, is the customization of the second screen. This video shows that nicely
