You have to remember that the OP can only list off the shelf configurations and in every case there is significant new technologies that are not detailed in the plain numbers. 2x is bare min... 4x is with probably Nintendo modifications and apparent realization of new tech.

Agreed, I believe that Nintendo's main goal was to make a system 4x more powerful than the 360PS3.  Seeing the amount of RAM, drive speed, and latest GPU leak all point that way.  At the very minimum I see the Wii U being 3.5x more powerful than the last generation HD system given the rumors and available specs for the sytem.
