It's irrelevant because of ps1/ps2 sales were better even though it was mostly 3rd party. Bring up it's third in sales bring up wii isn't on ps1/2 level of sales, What is up with this adult crap? Adults play all type of games even women who he doesn't even consider adults apparently. Sony fans admit that wii x game is hardcore yet it's still casual system. Xbox360 became a casual system because of kinect? Where do Sony fans get this stuff? Apparently if you market to bigger audience your casual on now. PS3 was a failed. PS3 failed at trying to get bigger audience and actual lost theirs. PS3 failed a handheld.Ps3 can't even beat n64 game sales. Move on Sony isn't anywhere near as power that's a fact. |
It's sad really, you have Sony fans saying Ninty should copy them. People ask them why would they copy a company that is currently in last? All they can bring up is how lucky Sony was in the past. There's a reason for why the PS3, PSP, PS Vita weren't able to accomplish such feats. Sony can no longer be bailed out by 3rd parties so now they are getting their ass handed to them. Sony's most current platform is performing terrible and yet they still believe Sony is on top of the world. Another posters brings up how Sony makes games that they love as if I give a crap and says it like Ninty should start doing things like that even though those Sony games sell like crap. If Ninty wanted a game to sell like crap they would've repeated Wii Music or copied Sony's entire library of games.

What about wanting Nintendo to copy a game like Shadow of Colossus? Game that sold 1.14 on the ps2. The collection only getting .75 on ps3. Who in there right mind would want to copy that? Where did these guys get there logic from? Kirby games outsell that game.

So using this logic, Nintendo should close Monolith Soft since Xenoblade sold less than SotC am I right? lol

Um it's one thing to say you want them to make a game like that but to say they should in order to do great is a different story.
Xenoblade was a great game but it isn't a system seller or going to boost the wii numbers greatly.
The fact is nobody but the internet few select even know the game exist. If I was business man that wouldn't be what i'm going to work for.
You can have great games that sell great for example Ocarina of Time or Mario Galaxy both of which sold better than the game and got more awards and got a higher rating.
Just because you enjoy a game doesn't mean it is something company must copy to do good. That's a fact.
