And indeed, those talk about specs...  Some people are into numbers, and take them at face value.  Yet the Benchmark tests released so far has the iPhone 5 faring better than all the phones on the marked right now, even the Android favorite SIII television set, even though the iPhone 5's specs are supposedly lower.  

Then there's this that should be taken into account, partly explaining the price of the device:

I understand why they didn't do this (after all that would be expensive) but it means that I wouldn't really trust their findings like I would trust the work of an organization like Consumer Reports.

Yeah, it's not scientific.  But you can find plenty of such tests on youtube, and they all end up with the same result.  Which is that the iPhone 5 is a more resistant phone.
