And indeed, those talk about specs...  Some people are into numbers, and take them at face value.  Yet the Benchmark tests released so far has the iPhone 5 faring better than all the phones on the marked right now, even the Android favorite SIII television set, even though the iPhone 5's specs are supposedly lower.  


Then there's this that should be taken into account, partly explaining the price of the device:

While the concept of the test is interesting, the approach is pretty terrible ... They should have created a dropping rig that would drop the devices in a consistent fashion and used multiple phones.

I understand why they didn't do this (after all that would be expensive) but it means that I wouldn't really trust their findings like I would trust the work of an organization like Consumer Reports.
