It's not so cut and dry, we're talking about general trends. And nothing Nintendo does is balancing that trend. I'm not saying Nintendo should become Sony, I'm just saying they should take cues and integrate the best of Sony into their processes, that's all. A bit of video gaming "inter-racial" if you will :P

I understand, but my statement was made to combat the idea that everything Sony does is for adults, and as such I'm actually defending Sony as a company that regularly makes games for varying segments. Something that, yes, Nintendo should do. And personally I believe that the best way for Nintendo to achieve greater variety in their game lineup is by forming partnerships with a wider variety (preferably talented) developers. Becauase Sony's success, in my opinion, comes from finding many different studios to work with that each possess their own unique game design philosophies.
