Thanks guys What do you think of the vid??

I'm not so sure what I was looking at, all I saw was the Resident Evil movie, some woman, and another woman with a violin.

What exactly is this...new TV resolution? Better than HD o.O?

I was also a bit confused at the beginning. But il try and explain as best i can.

The screen you are seing (the big one) is what the guy sitting in the chair is seeing minus the border of the tv etc. So basically he is getting a fully immersed view of the video.

After the trailer things get more interesting. The guy is then shown a video of a japanese lady in front of him, notice how he can move hes head and change the camera view at will! So yeah this is great in its own right...but then after that the actual lady walks into the room, they then switch from the head mount view to real life view...the guy seems a bit confused until he actually touches the ladys hand and realises "OH SNAP this is real" XD they then seamlessly switch back to the video..at this point i would think the guy is unsure of what he is watching is real or a video ! Amazing!

Think of the anime Sword Art Online XD

Realistically though i dont think this is anywhere close to being in the hands of consumers and conveying the same experience. However its a marked improvement on the previous head mount display (granted it had a different focus) and it also shows where we will eventually get to with virtual reality and playing with perceptions.

Hope that helped :)
