| Sal.Paradise said: Hey gamers! So I've been doing some digging, and it shocked me to see how many good IPs Microsoft owns! These are games that many of us loved in our childhood, or some others when they were older because they have no life (nerds) Anyway, do you think that Microsoft would revive these IPs next generation for the hawdcaw gamers choosing their new consoles? They have so many but are any of them relevant to Microsoft's strategy today? Are they not grimdark shootbang enough?
Do you even want a new Battletoads in the first place? Or are you all too mature (NERDS!) for that now? |
Crimson Skies I believe is licensed out, so you may see that game but not developed by Microsoft. Same with MechAssault and Mech Warrior. Those IPs are currently licensed out to third-party developers.
Some of those IPs you'll likely never see again unless someone comes along with a great idea for them. Brute Force and Grabbed By The Ghoulies likely will never see the light of day again. Neither were very successful commercially. I think for Microsoft, Epic's Gears of War filled the niche that Brute Force was meant to fill.
