Will Microsoft ever touch their legacy IPs again? Do they even care!?

In any case, yes. Black & White is something I'd like to see another one of. They got so close to being fantastic with B&W2, but man, they needed to balance the positive gameplay better. It was too fucking hard to get anything done!

Well, Molyneux isn't even at Lionhead any more, he's too busy starting patent fights with NASA.

I wouldn't have thought Microsoft do own the IP to Black & White.  That's what it says on Wikipedia, but there's no source, so I have no idea.

I would like to see a new version of it though.  I don't think Molyneux is necessary to its success.  If anything, he held Lionhead back during the later years by constantly talking their work up too much.  Without him in the equation, they can probably just be left to make a good, solid product using their own ideas.  They seem like a very talented team, they've just not really shown that so much on the 360 (although, I've only briefly played Fable 1 & 3, so perhaps they're better than the internet makes them seem).
