Wikipedia is wrong. I just said that MS was only the games distributor, Tecmo published it. 

Want actual proof, look up the game on Microsofts own website and see who they list as the publisher.

The actual box and the actual intro says published by microsoft.

The developer was Team Ninja and it was published by Microsoft Game Studios; this signaled the first time a Team Ninja made game was not published by the publisher Tecmo.
