The smart thing to do would to have waited until Nintendo announced the Wii U ship date. That's happened, but who knows if the timing was intentional. If they drop the price before the Wii U launch, then it's quite possible they'll steal some sales away. Probably not a lot, but some people might re-evaluate where they spend their money.
