I thought we just knew about it through other leaks. Has Sony actually announced it officially yet?

Sony has not announced it officially, but we had other official sources like the Brazilian equivalent of FCC. Facts are we've had images and sku numbers since July. It is known. The price rumor came shortly after. Now Sony must finally have lower enough stock of the current models to justify officially releasing it.
