Yes, it does. It's actually officially supported by the game's menu as "free up space for an alternate OS". It still has XMB and you can switch between them.

Not directly, no. You'd have to install Wine in an x86 emulator on the PS3 Linux installation. It would work, but it would be very, very slow.
