My screen name is up if you want to go up against me later. On the 360 you have to buy an extra controller to play fighting games properly.

They had some deals for thos SF x Tekken pads and SF pads for like 4 or 5 quid in HMV a little while back, might recommend it to my housemate. He is a SF player mainly though. He's going to eurogamer and was expecting to enter the tournament there.

Working through endings so not really doing but so far my thoughts.

Loving it so far, getting used to tagging combos, still prefer just to be good at 2 characters. I actually would have liked a mode like the Tekken 6 Scenario campaign but alas, nevermind. Customisation is extremely lacking in items compared to 6. Hope they do DLC updates and add some outfits. Changing colours is all well and good but my Lee looked cool in the last game...

Played only 2 games online since getting it Friday, 1 unranked and the guy did well 3-2 game, he won, other one was ranked, a guy who had chosen Kazuya (switching to devil early on) and Angel, used lasers a lot. Wish people would learn how to play, not cheat.

Oh on a side, note, my housemate has it for 360 (I have it for PS3) and I couldn't do a bloody thing on it, it was like playing a shitty version of the game, pressing left it jumped. Pressinga direction and punch to do a move just punched and ignored the direction I input. How do people play on 360? It's hilariously bad.

Yeah..  You need a stick.. Or, you have to be more direct with your inputs.  I play Tekken 6 on 360 on release day.  I was able to play it without too much a problem because I already knew I had to press exactly what I wanted, or that pad would make me do other things...  Granted, I just had Lili, who doesn't require anything too strict.

Anyway, as far as the lasers go.  That's one thing you never complain about.  You can see them coming a mile away.  You either crouch or side step.  Devil Kazuya beats having regular Kazuya.  He has more moves in his set, and, from what I've seen, there's nothing I noticed as a side effect.  But, if you think lasers are cheating, you need to go into practice mode.

Unblockables have massive start-ups and/or massive recovery time for a reason.  I don't use any of the Mishimas very often but, using a projectile is far from cheating.  Cheating would be having rage mode active through the entire match without meeting the activation costs.  Everything else is just a part of the game, and you have to learn to defend yourself properly.

BTW, stage, I'm not done with you, yet.  You got too many wins off my bad habit of rolling back and I wasn't happy with my lead over you.  It wasn't big enough. We'll have to fight again sometime.  lol...   regenge.  That's funny.

I worked out the needing a stick or special pad for 360 ages ago but never got the chance to play Tekken on 360 until the other day, only fighting games I've played on 360 was MvC3 and only used the stick for it.

The cheating thing, the guy did it once and it hit me as i was in the middle of a move already, hard to avoid, after that they didn't hit me again with it. Me and people I play with class it as cheating as out of all the moves in the game there are only 2 or 3 that are long range and unblockable, we class the moves as off limit. Other unblockables take a lot longer to charge too and show signs of charging.

Just need to play online a bit more, on T6 I had a win ratio of about 80%. But then I've never been fond of juggling even if it is a proper game mechanic now, I had like one small set in my arsenal, most the time quick moves and skillful play was enough.

Hmm, pie.
