This is the sentence I disagree with. It's not a $200 phone. That's a fact. Vita is about 2/5 of the price of an iPhone 5. 

Six of one, half dozen of the other. Yes, you have to pay for the cellular service. If you already own a smartphone or planned to buy one anyway, that cost is immaterial. If you don't own one and don't plan to buy one, then it's significant.
