we are quite lucky that the dollar has slided a bit, because we used to be even more of a rip off Britain. For example when ps3 first came out it was £425 or $850 ($2 to £1 at the time!, now it's $1.60 to £1), if PS3 launched at £425 now, it would be equivalent to $690. Expensive, but not like it used to be
