What annoys me about this is: This was never a thread about sales but low and behold, here we are. This was a thread talking about quality games that are fun to play regardless of "sales". Yet again, it's degenerated to sales talk. But on that topic, my arguement was: You can't jump to conclusions without any facts. that's all I have to say on that matter, now get back on topic. |
I love moments like these.....providing facts to show the simply reality. And like we established.....this isnt taking into account the gamers interest (aka sales) of these games.

My 2012 current 360 vs PS3 list. This one doesn't separate downloadable from retail due to the increased relevance of downloadable titles. But im sure you can pick them out and see the same conclusion.
360
90+ (2) - Trials Evolution, Mark of the Ninja
80-89 (8) - The Witcher 2, Fez, Dust: An Elysian Tail, Sine Mora, Joe Danger 2: The Movie, Minecraft, Spelunky, Happy Action Theatre
70-79 (8) - Akai Katana Skin, Alan Wake: AN, Hybrid, The Splatters, Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Zuma Revenge, Quarrel, Haunt
_____________________________________________
PS3
90+ (1) - Journey
80-89 (6) - MLB 12: The Show, Dyad, Closure, Jak and Daxter Collection, Ratchet and Clank Collection, Sound Shapes
70-79 (8)- Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Sorcery, Tales of Graces, Motorstorm RC, House of the Dead 4, Rainbow Moon, Retro/Grade
_____________
Granted some games here are/were only timed exclusive. I still think thats worth mentioning none the less. History has shown the later releases get lost in obscurity and irrelevance.
Like my previous post said. PS3 has retail nailed down. PSn is great, but doesnt hold a candle to XBLA.
