The battle is not going to be about amazing superior graphics. If say the Next XBox and Next Playstation systems release at 1080p, there is no reason why the WiiU couldn't do 720P and upscale it.
Whatever console wins next generation battle is going to have to do things that people really want, superior to the competition, if not be unique. If it is going to come down to having a second screen with touch, and the WiiU can hold its own on graphics, NOTHING Sony and Microsoft can do, particularly if Nintendo gets third-party support. If the big thing ends up being moving around the living room and interacting in 3D, it is very possible Microsoft will wrap that up, since the latest word makes it look like Microsoft will be pushing Kinect on steroids.
Nintendo very much is going to win on price again, the way things are. Big deal will end up likely being internal memory in the system, and maybe the 3D card's effects in it.
