Firstly better technical specs, i.e. better graphics and physics. But not just that, a console that is more feature rich than the Wii U. If MS can release Kinect 2.0 which can read body motion without any lag unlike the current kinect, and pack it into the box, then developers would have extra tools to play with just like how the Wii U has the tablet. Plus they already have an established online service which is very robust, so any improvements will only be positive (still have to see if Miiverse will be able to compete with current XBL and PSN). Sony on the other hand just needs to make sure that their console is buyable day one.

Yeah, I'm sure WiiU will be the weakest next gen, but not as weak as Wii was this gen. But this will mean WIiU will get way better ports than Wii ever got. And I'm not totally sure about Kinect2 either... It sold very well indeed, but is it something that can push sales for the system? I don't know - perhaps. It did extend the 360's life span. And regarding their online serices; if they don't improve Nintendo will get a head, for sure.

And regarding your Sony comment; I don't think I quite get it... Are you litteraly meaning all Sony needs to do is release PS4? Cuz that didn't work out too good for PS3...
