Unless both companies take big losses I don't see how they can make a powerful system (compared to the PS3, 360 and the upcoming Wii U) at that price, MS can probably do it but Sony is in no position to do so.

Very unlikely about Halo 5 considering Halo 4 will be released this year. Gran Turismo 6 is a big possibility though.

This will be really hard, and imo the biggest factor to that will be the price of the system.

9. Multimedia capabilities including apps and a built in Blu-Ray player.

As long as they don't go crazy like Sony with the Blu-Ray which made the PS3 way too expensive at launch.
