Trying to debate something they have not studied or have no experience about, lol. I really dond't get it, how do non-religious people expect to debate religion with a religious person and expect to win? ha ha, you all should stick to talking about games.

I was Christian for 16 years, went to a Christian pre-school and visited church every Sunday throughout my childhood. Surely that's a sufficient amount of experience.

really? well maybe and maybe not.I was a Christian growing up as well, but didn't practice Christianity, i.e. reading my bible, praying, fellowshiping etc, until recently. And all my years of being a 'christian' didn't teach me a thing (well almost nothing). So the amount of time you spend being a 'christian' means almost nothing. It's what you have been doing with that time, those 16 plus years that's important.

 

So, what have you been doing, as a christian for those 16 years, just being a bench warmer? 

I was also a rather devout christian for 16 years.  I was pretty hardcore.  I went to church, prayed, got involved, etc.  Then as I grew up, I matured and realized 2 major problems with faith:  1 - I didn't need a divine father figure supposedly watching over me to do good things and care about fellow man; and 2 - The more I looked into science the more I Realized how much in the bible was physically impossible and had no logical foothold.  

Once I got over those two things, there was absolutely nothing about religion I found appealing, so I left it in my childhood, where fairy tales belong. 

You can be a christian for 25 years and have no clue about Christianity for example scholarly works and Theology.

Most people who go to church unless they have someone that actual knows anything about scholar articles and did any research usually have pseudo-undertsanding of the bible.

This is a good example of fundamentalism because it's clear you have no idea what God(christian) is about. God isn't about watching over you and treating your fellow man. The purpose of being a Christian is the serve God ( messages put in God) and spread the message with apologetics( not personal testimony)( On Jesus Coming BACK from the grave).

Seem you just didn't look up or research anything you choose to just be ignorant and wasting  your brain cells because you thought you knew everything even though you knew nothing?

This sounds like fundamentalism it's just that now you're not Chrisian fundamentalist you're now an atheist funamentalist.
