Basically "normal unbiased" people won't see any game on the wiiU that looks definitely better of what they already have seen on the other systems. Systems with lower price tag, bigger library and better online support. So why should they buy it?

Beside "self proclaimed hard ass hardcore" gaming is very important in the home console segment. It's numerically on par with the casual segment and it has a more predictable behaviour (meaning you can trust those consumers, they will buy your new system if they liked the old one).

The hardcore are a tiny segment of the console market. The casual is much larger than it is.
