Beside "self proclaimed hard ass hardcore" gaming is very important in the home console segment. It's numerically on par with the casual segment and it has a more predictable behaviour (meaning you can trust those consumers, they will buy your new system if they liked the old one).

well...they've been know to jump ship pretty eagerly actually. How many ps 2 fans were underwelmed with the original ps3 pricetag and decided to go with the cheaper and just as good 360 at the time?

I'm not 'pro wii u' btw...I just think it will be a success,  which I realise makes me a freak on these boards ;)
