Not on the type of game they want to make. That is what Kickstarter is perfect for

Spot on - this sort of game is for old-school CRPG gamers, just like Wasteland 2  is - big publishers wouldn't know what to do with it in its original form, and we would probably get Baldur Scrolls or Torment Age - Origins instead of classic experience Obsidian is going for.
