That's because people know where to expect the games that they like. When you start off a series on two consoles and then jump straight to a new console people will obviously will be upset (although that other thread shows that some go beyond ridiculous levels). Yes, Nintendo saved the series (from what I understand) and all Bayonetta fans should be grateful, but acting as if this move was made to broaden their fanbase is wrong. Sure, it is possible that the Wii U will expand their audience, but securing their current fans before anything else would, if possible, be a smarter move. It would be beyond risky to ignore the PS3/360 users. |
So if this game had been announced for PS4 and 720, there would have been outrage?
