It seem to me this is a timed exclusive.
They havent really made it that clear why this game can't be multiplatform, so I'm going to venture a theory.
This game might not be out next year, but by 2014. Thus I think they are preparing to make this game truly next gen in the sense they will port it to the PS4 & 720 when the time comes rather than limiting the games potential to the PS3, 360 & Wii U.
I honestly cant see them making this game a Wii U exclusive a good buisness decision, the sales of the first game came from outside the Wii market. We shall see.
My point is I think this game is only exclusive until the next Sony and Microsoft consoles are announced. They simply want to move onto next gen, which is commendable I suppose.
