I was pretty uninterested in hearing about TVii during the conference, but looking back on it I'm impressed with how Nintendo is handling their online services with Wii U. They aren't just "catching up" to 360 and PS3, they're setting the new bar. That's important -- it HAD to represent an improvement over what we've already had for years on the other consoles. Jumping right into a subscription-based premium service (seemingly based on PlayStation Plus) is a surprising move too, but I think sneaking that two-year subscription into the deluxe bundle is a great idea.
