I'm pretty sure indefinite detention without trial is one of the recent power grabs. Sure, you have to be a suspect for "terrorist". But, then, the FBI recently defined the "sovereign citizen" movement a terrorist organization... which really means that anyone with libertarian tendancies could be a suspect.
