I'm not going to address your previous points, because, seriously, I can't work out what you're trying to say.

In terms of real money (that is, accounting for inflation), Government spending in Greece has gone up every year.

The same is true in most European countries, spending has actually increased (including the UK). The only "austerity" is that spending has increased at a slower rate than it should have done. That, and increased taxes. With the way that special interests are so deeply routed into the system, it's physically impossible for any real spending cuts to occur.

Greed is good! It's because of our desire to lead better lives, that we do, in fact, lead better lives. Seriously, if you really want to know what caused this mess, go read up on Austrian economics. I'll get you started:

Money is the root of all evil? ... Question: do you know what mo

I don't know how well the greek economy was doing from 2000 to 2009, but since then it has shrunk by 5 to 7% a year since then. It is incredibly weak there. And who is lying then? As, we always here of spending cuts and austerity on the news and I mean ALWAYS. If spending cuts are not happening, then it should not be said so much in the media! Capitalism is flawed like this, as we seem to believe that growth in wealth is infinite, which it is not. Economies peak and decline, after major growth. Economic growth in Europe has for now peaked and is declining like it did in the 1970's.

Greed is not good, it may aspire people, but it can just as easily corrupt them and be complete bastards to get there, destroying society in the end. If money was not so corrupting, then it would be ok. I mean people fight over it, over something that does not make you any happier.

To answer your question, money is the power to purchase goods and services. You have more power, the wealthier you are. And what I mean By money is the root of all evil? Well, arguably the already rich do whatever to become richer, without a care in the world. And by that, in the USA for example they bribe and corrupt the system (especially when republicans have power) in order to get tax cuts, which illegitimately gives them more power. As, the so called representatives do what the billionaire says, and lets an ordinary person go without and let whole towns go bankcrupt. That's the reality of the US political system now.

Finally, yeah i'll watch those videos and see

Have you been watching some kind of propaganda videos?  What you are saying actually doesn't compute in the real world.  First of all, the extremely rich are often some of the most generous people in the world.  Look at Bill Gates and how much he gives to charity, are you saying he doesn't care at all about people less fortunate then himself?

One of the biggest problems I have with your little speal here is the especially republicans part.  You don't think Democrats are guilty as well?  Who do you think benefits when democrats are in power?  Unions, clean energy, infrastructure jobs, etc.  Who do you think donates and funds most democratic efforts?  Now look at the democrats records, are you saying these people aren't getting paid off?  Seriously?  Do me a favor, and do a google search for solyndra please.

I think it is time to get off the propagand bus buddy.

Why would I have been watching propaganda videos? What if this is how I see the influence of money, nothing wrong with that is there? Few men think alike.

People like Bill Gates are generous now and even set up their own charities, but how many do that, when they first start? I'm not writing him off like that, but not all rich people are generous like that.

I never said the Democrats don't corrupt the system at all, I said that it is all the more likely that Republicans do it more often, with more money involved. Really, money just should not be involved in politics like it is, both parties 2012 campaigns cost millions of dollars while more and more people become homeless and unemployed, where's the justice in that?!

Finally, how can you say I have been brainwashed with "propaganda"? What's saying you have not been brainwashed yourself?

I'm a leftie in politics, i generally believe in marxist and sometimes liberal (in the european sense, not the american sense) views. ok

when they first start out? Like before they become rich?  So are you complaigning that people arent generous before they have money to be generous with? And yes, most rich people are very generous like that.

I know what yo said about how republicans are more corruptible and im telling you that that is just crap and is not true. Both parties have huge records of crony dealings and are equally bad. I mean, look at mccain and obama, who do you think is the most corrupt between them? Mccain has championed campaign finace reform and ran on public financing, obama refused because he could make more money in back alley deals which lead to things like solyndra happening durring his administration. For some reason you think republicans are more guilty even though there is democrats have been the ones in power lately and all the crony dealings have been mostly coming from democrats lately. Heres a little tip for ya, the party in power is usually the most corrupt as they have the power.

Also, just think about your little speal there about how money in politics is being wasted as people become homeless and unemployed.  What do you think happens to that money that is being spent, is it just going straight to the trash can, or maybe it is paying for ads and campaign staffers that create tons of jobs. How many people do you think have jobs because of get out to vot efforts or business that thrive from making signs and bumper stickers? The money being spent is creating jobs buddy.

The reason i accuse you of having watched propaganda is because your understanding of politics and issues seems to be completely one sided. Honestly, if you want to understand something you have to look at all the options.  If two people have a disagreement you dont just listen to one side and the agree the other person was wrong, you have to listen to both sides of the story. From the way you talk, it doesnt seem like you understand both sides at all. It seems like you listened to one side and decided you agreed with it.

Personally, im a centrist. Im not a republican or a democrat and i tend to look at both sides of the argument. There are areas that i think republicans are right and there areas that i think democrats are right, but neither side is right on every issue.

I spose you mean everywhere then, with the corruption then, I mean look at Margaret Thatcher by 1989/90. She was truely power hungry, so was Tony Blair by the last year of his office (both PM for 11 years!), and it's worse in dictatorships too, US presidents (both parties) can be corrupt, but is nothing even when compared to any dictator. Sorry, I just don't trust the Republicans or the tea party.  So, to change the country we are talking about, but i was wrong. Corruption is worldwide, when it comes to politics. You are right, power corrupts, money alone does not.

You say these costly campaigns create jobs, but for how long? They can't last for more than a few months, I doubt they are anything more than a season job like farming. Major elections are only every 4 years. You can't survive on nothing for 3 and a half years!

I admit, I am biased but aren't most people in politics? I know i am only one person, but you have very biased media in america like fox news and people just believe what they say (is that not propaganda itself?), if they were not associated with republicans, I might bother to see there opinion and policies (which haven't really been mentioned in either campaigns)

Out of those 2 parties, i pick democrats, although i'm of a libertarian on some issues, although libertarians are not big yet. But, i accept your opinion
