That's a unfair comparision... the benchs uses JavaScript but it's not multithreaded for more than 2 cores.
So the A9 quad-core is underutilized.
From these specs:
CPU: Vita wins
GPU: Tie with Vita slightly better (+)
Memory: Vita win for games due the dedicated and fast VRAM but loose for general applications
Resolution: iPhone 5 wins
Camera: iPhone 5 wins
Storage: Vita wins because it's not fixed
Battery: Tie? I don't know
Connectivity: iPhone wins but you don't need that much.
Price: Vita wins
