Because I disagree with you obviously means "I'll believe anything as long as it is negative". Obviously. Or maybe we just happen to disagree. Also, I fail to see in that press release the part where it says Power7. Maybe you can point that out. And of course no inside source has ever leaked true information before... not even when it was revealed prematurely that Project Cafe would have a touch screen controller. Leave the leaks to the industry professionals, of course.
But you've missed my point entirely. Going back to my original post I said that a rumor is just a rumor, and we won't know exactly what kind of hardware the Wii U is made of until a consumer buys one and busts it open. You happen to be the only one between us that is saying with no doubt what kind of guts the console has. So obviously you can provide pictures of some sort? Nope, just going by a rumor. Rumors = potential truths... they're all worth nothing until proven right. Just because I've said that I think one rumor might be right over another is far different from saying that I know the truth. And what I'm leaning toward isn't even a negative rumor.
So let's hold onto these ideas for when we get actual facts handed to us after launch. Although conversing with you has been such a pleasure.

I'm not saying I know what is in the console, I'm saying I know what isn't in the console ...
IBM has explicitly stated that the Wii U processor is based on the Power architecture, is using their most advanced technology, and is based on the same technology that was used in their Watson super computer. In no way does this match up with a 3 core PowerPC 7xx processor.
IBM stopped R&D on the PowerPC 7xx based processor years ago, and the Wii's Broadway processor was the last chip developed in that line. There is no reason to believe that either IBM or Nintendo wanted to continue with this CPU, there is no advantage and it would likely cost more in R&D to modify this CPU to perform well than to take (something like) a Power7 processor and get it to run at a lower temperature; and IBM would be highly interested in reducing the energy consumption of the Power7 to open up new markets for it down the road.

Proof that Wii is using a CPU based on IBM's Power7 processor!!!!
