I touched on that on my original thread about Vita being a phone.... it has to do with 3DS's primary market and 1st party games.

Nintendo can and will be able to coextist with smartphones, Sony cannot.

(in Gru's voice and accent)...it would still be nice to include the 3DS there somewhere just as the comparison; seeing it dominates the dedicated handheld arena by more than 90%!!!
