I really don't see the point of this thread other than you gloating about you being right about something which was going to be a given in that a future portable device would one day have superior hardware specs compared to the Vita.

As to your other point you are comparing apples and oranges. Dedicated gaming handhelds cater to a different market although I would agree that smartphones are taking a large chunk of casual gamers away.

The comments from Kowenicki and disolitude are hilarious as well. I wonder if you guys would be making such comments if this was an identical thread about a Microsoft device.

My point in these comparisons has always been the same, to support my idea that Vita should have been a gaming centric smartphone. I think it would have fared far better, been more profitable (not stuck to a lower price, contracts FTW!), and could be replaced/upgraded every couple years to maximise savings and broaden Playstation's mobile brand. The fact that it took less than a year for  phone to surpass it in raw power (and only opening day to surpass it in sales) shows that a dedicated handheld focused on the core gamer/high end tech is just a bad business decision. They need a more flexible design that can move with technology while providing superior gaming experience as well as the features a core-gamer aged 18+ is likely going to demand... i.e. a smartphone.
