I would think it would be fairly obvious-- it wasn't that great of a game.

It's not that it was bad, it's just that it wasn't anything special. Just ask yourself and answer honestly: if Resistance: Fall of Man had released at any other time in the PS3 life cycle and not been a launch game and had not been an exclusive, would anyone remember it?

The answer would be a resounding no, it would have faded right into obscurity. The visuals weren't that impressive and the gameplay wasn't all that special. It wasn't a bad game at all and had an interesting premise, there was just little to set it apart other than it was a launch window PS3 exclusive.

I appreciate that throwback to the old run-n-gun games, that was cool, but beyond that I really can't remember much about the game. I remember I tried Resistance 2, saw the changes, thought meh, and then moved on.
