I think it looks like a solid device. I'm sure WP8 will improve well, but if MS can't get people to even consider WP, it won't matter.

While I'll stick with Android, I love competition and the innovation it brings. (granted if Apple's fucking lawsuits don't cripple that permanently)

Today's event will likely be:

iPhone 5 (4" iphone 4, better camera, A5X chip, NFC, LTE, iOS6 recap, same pricing, release date)
new iPods (virtually same as iphone 4s, but without phone and with iOS6)
new iTV (better hardware, same pricing, new game focus with controller, iOS6)
I don't think there will be any significant iPad news. I was thinking a 7" version was coming, but I'm not so sure now.

That's what I expect and the last one is my out-there new thing, but may not happen at all.

The A5X is just an A5 with quadcore graphics. The 45nm version used in the ipad is too big/uses too much power/gives off too much heat to be used in the iphone. The ipad has a lot more pixels to push on the retina screen which is why they went with it over a standard A5.
