Overpriced? It will most likely just take over the same pricepoints that the 4S was at. Apple will lower the cost of a baseline 4S and make the iphone 4 the cheapest phone. (good-bye 3GS)

I hope that's the case. I'll be getting it on a contract though, so it won't really matter much to me anyway

Well that's what they did when the 4S released. On contract, the 3GS became free, the iphone 4 (8gb) was lowered to $99, the (16gb) 4S took over the $199 spot with $299 price for the 32gb 4S and a new $399 price for the 64gb 4S (there was no 64gb iphone 4).
