Bamco's getting a lot better since they actually seem to give a shit about fans in the west now, though they still make some dumb and ocassionally dickish moves ( They're the sole reason VesPS3ria hasn't made it west because they don't want it to be released here, despite the fans and western branches wanting it localised .) Though I agree that Atlus XSeed NISA etc are where it's at.
