Wow! Way too many stupid posts here! It seems that people prefer to complain, instead of reading and learning what is this all about.
It's basically a new interface that enables you to operate everything with your gaming controller, so you don't need to get off your couch. If you prefer, you can continue using Steam as before.
Already tried it, and I think it's pretty cool! Typing with Daisywheel is great! The web browser sucks though, but it's just on beta.
