I agree that Wii Play did not look very good, so I just bought a controller for $40. No rant needed.

I think that would be a great compromise. I do agree with Ben's sentiment, though. It is tiring to hear people say that the game should not be counted. It is obviously a successful game in its own right even if it is totally uninteresting to me.
