"Stop, I don't want to do this anymore..."

That's literally what she said about halfway in. I just couldn't believe she would say this after all we had been through... I mean, we had talked about doing it for the last couple of weeks, and every time I brought up the subject she always seemed so exited, basically drooling and all just by thinking about it.

First things first though: Last week was when I decided to make the move and called her on her phone. As expected, she came to my place as fast as she could. I could see that she truly was exited. Her voice even trembled a little bit, making her face all red. "This is it." I wispered as we entered the living room. "The couch?" she said. "We are gonna do it on the couch? It doesn't look very comfortable to me...". "Trust me, I have done this many times before. The couch is by far the best way to enjoy this."

Well, we got down to business and came to the point were this thread started: Halfway in she started resisting, claiming that this was not what she had expected at all. "Come on, it hasn't even started yet!" I said in a desperate attempt to make her go through with it. "There is no shame in doing this, so what would you have to lose?". She didn't respond to my question, so I knew that her resistance was not based on any logical reasoning or whatsoever. It was surely just her mind playing tricks on her.

So what did I do? I kept on going without her permission, hoping she would change her mind and realize what she actually had to lose, and perhaps even join in later on. But no, it didn't go so well. She became really mad, called me a disrespectful pig and then left before I even fully realized what was going on...

My question is this: Should I have stopped after she told me to? Was it a mistake to keep going even though she didn't want me to? Was my attempt to lighten up her mood justified or did I just make things worse?

In any case I have learned my lesson though: Never ever try to complete a Halo: CE walkthrough with women. I tried, and I failed miserably.
