That really depends, it could range from $4000 per person to $30000 per person depending on how they actually intended to travel, sleep, eat etc.
I and my buddy who's tagging along are aiming for the bottom estimate. (Sleeping in tents everywhere, walking and hitchhiking, cheap food etc, for us it's more about seeing the world and experiencing things than having luxury).
