My reasoning is in the reply I left to CGI.
I didn't say people won't buy a ps3 or ps3 games anymore. But it's foolish to think there won't be a noticeable decrease in PS3 software/hardware sales when the PS4 does release. I'm not saying games are going to flop. Obviously games will still be successful. But expecting 5-7m for a single-player centric new IP at the end of the PS3 life cycle is simply unrealistic.
It could still do 4-5m which is still great.
