The final night of the DNC has ended in which President Obama gave a defense of his presidency and tried to cast a vision for America's future. He had some punch lines on Romney, and very much tried to make the case that this was a "choice" election between two different plans and two different futures for America. There were some that said his speech did not have the usual lofty rhetoric but it got the job done. I however have also heard others say they thought it was one of the most "empty" feeling speeches they have heard Obama give. I thought actually in terms of delivery Joe Biden actually gave a better speech than Obama. And many thought Obama would one up Romney (who didn't have much details other than a 5 point plan in his speech) by giving details of his plans during his speech. He however seemed to only give goals of what his visions and hopes are in certain aspects of the future of America. slim on plans of actually getting where he wants to go. Mostly seemed more like a state of the Union address to me.
