If 3G doesn't come, just get MH3. Even if you dislike the Wii (why do you in the first place? If it's just controls then you can use the classic controller. If it's the online, well MH3 has very good online). It's a very good game and I have 500 hours in it. I can't even imagine playing the PSP ones without online co-op. Single player is fun but multiplayer is on another level. And Tri is the best one, mechanically (outside of maybe MH3G or MHP3 if they did some fixes or something, but those aren't out here and MHP3 definitely won't be).
And I know people are saying "lololol troll" but this is the first update for this game in 5 years, though only 2 years for the 360 version. It's not like they could've announced anything major in Japan regarding MH now anyway. What, you expected a brand new full-blown MH game out of the blue or something? Especially when MH4 is on the 3DS? And they're at least looking into porting Frontier to other platforms, though it might never come over.

I don't really dislike it, but if I have a choice I would choose other systems. It's not much about motion controls (even though they're not my favorites), it's how the games become very ugly on my TV. I'm not a graphics whore (opposite to that, actually) and I think most Wii graphics are amazing, as Dolphin is there to show us.
But the way they show on a 52 inch TV really bothers me. For example, DS has much "worse" graphics than a wii. but I love them, not only for their artstyle but because they're sharp. There's a limit, and Wii crosses it a bit, imo. Not that it becomes unplayable, but, I just don't choose it over another. Plus, with the exception of the Wii U, which I hope is bringing a lot of innovation to the home console space - like the DS did - most of my game time is spent on portables, by option, so I naturally prefer to play on a 3DS, DS or PSP even if it's a worse version.
