I've always believed the system had plenty of support, it is just taking a long time to see most of it. After the launch there hasn't really been anything exciting to talk about and it appears that TGS this year (along with Gamescom earlier) that the tide is changing.
The difference is that most of the games that will get people excited for the system are finally in playable form. So people can go hands on.
